About Mimipquilting

My Story

I am a Mimi to 7 grand-kids. When my oldest daughter was pregnant with her second child, I thought it would be special if I handmade her a quilt for the baby. I had never used a sewing machine before so that in itself was a learning curve. However, I accomplished what I set out to do and gained a love for quilting. I love making quilts and I love even more how it brings smiles to those who receive the quilts.
